BCM Technologies has been in existence from the early days of the biotechnology industry. Since its formation in 1983, BCMT has launched over 41 companies. Over the years, our scope has broadened substantially, to include commercialization and investment opportunities outside of Baylor College of Medicine, but we have maintained our focus on early stage investment opportunities in the life sciences.
Nine BCMT portfolio companies have achieved NASDAQ listing and other exits have included mergers, acquisitions, and sales. Significant successes in past BCMT portfolio companies include Lexicon Genetics (LEXG), GeneMedicine (VLTS), ForeFront Group (now Smart Force), Genosys (now Sigma-Aldrich) and Zonagen (ZONA).
